Make space for what you want

Deep ✨

When it comes to manifestation, one very important step is often overlooked: the one of making space in your life for what you want. You see, you can pray, journal, and change patterns all you want – if there’s no room in your life for what you just wished for, there is no way you will receive.

Steps of manifestation

Of course, we all know that there are differents steps to manifesting whatever it is you want. Guru’s from many different spiritual theories teach us to set a clear goal, think out the details, change your behavior around it and then let go of the idea of a set outcome (read more on this last step in this blog).

But another step that we should consider taking in one of the last phases of manifestation, is asking ourselves: where do I still need to make space in my life, for this particular wish?

Let me give you an example. If you want a new relationship, you have to cut ties with any feelings or relations you still have with you ex-partner. As long as they still occupy your heart, mind or agenda, there is no room for a new love to blossom in your life.

Out with the old, in with the new

The same thing goes for changes of behavior or patterns: as long as you’re occupied with the old, there is no way to receive the new. There is simple no room for this in your life, as the old still takes up space.

Think about eating healthy, for example. You know what you want and how you’re going to manifest it. But if you ask yourself: ‘how do I need to make space for this new healthy habit?’ you might see that there are some old habits that you have to get out of the way first, in order to start the new one.

Maybe this means that you have to plan out your meals or buy fresh groceries more often. This takes time. Where are you going to take that time away from? A.k.a: where are you going to make space? Maybe you need to cut down on your social life a little bit, or maybe you need to delegate the planning and groceries to someone else.

Whatever new habit works for you, new things can only come into your life if you make space for it by getting rid of some old things. If there’s no place for your new wish to ‘land’ in your life, you’ll keep praying, journalling and changing, but manifesting your wish will be nearly impossible.

Let me know how you’re going to make space for the next goal you have!

The explanation of the brand name

Geen categorie

I was very young when I started writing and blogging. And ever since high school, I remember having some sort of blog. First on Myspace, later on websites like Blogger and WordPress. I used to own blogs about my life, some fiction and I even used to run a (not so successful) blog about healthy food with my friend. However, this is the first time I own an actual domain name ( So you can imagine, I had to find a good name if I was finally going to pay for it and build my brand on it.

I have been using the name Coco Eleven as an online username on and off for about ten years now. I once came up with the name because I didn’t want to use my own name for privacy reasons. I also somehow wanted to integrate my birthday in it, since I’m a very proud november-child and scorpio (I understand that not everyone is a fan of defining their personality by the astrological moment you were born, however, I find that the scorpio attributes describe me to a T).

So, I found a match by using the first syllable of my name twice, and the month I was born in. It was only later that I realised that Coco actually is a (pretty nice) women’s name, and 11 is a highly spiritual number in numerology (which I’m not really educated in), and stands for sensitive and charismatic, cooperative and independent. Which once again in my life, describes perfectly what I was trying to get to by starting this website!

And so, Coco Eleven was born (again). She rose like a phoenix from the ashes of her past. And this time, she is doing it properly – using time and money to build a brand and put her whole heart and soul into it. I hope you enjoy my content!
